Assassin’s Creed Mirage: Cinematic World Premiere

Watch the cinematic world premiere announcement trailer of Assassin’s Creed Mirage.

In the ninth century CE, Baghdad is at its height, leading the world in science, art, innovation, and commerce. Amid its bustling urban landscape, a conflicted young orphan with a tragic past must navigate the streets to survive. Experience the story of Basim in the new Assassin’s Creed

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is going be the thirteenth game in the series, following up on last year’s Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. The game’s set in 9th-century Baghdad during the Islamic Golden Age and follows Basim Ibn Ishaq’s journey from street thief to a full-blown Assassin Brotherhood member. He’s gonna be fighting the Templar Order, who want to control the peace while the Brotherhood fights for peace and freedom. What’s cool is that Mirage is gonna be a return to the old-school Assassin’s Creed games with a bigger emphasis on linear storytelling and stealth gameplay instead of open-world RPG elements. You can play it on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Amazon Luna when it drops in 2023.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage Gameplay

Mirage, the upcoming action-adventure stealth game by Ubisoft, aims to bring back the classic elements of the Assassin’s Creed series, with a focus on a linear story and a decrease in role-playing game elements. The game’s story is set in Baghdad, consisting of four districts and the Hidden Ones’ headquarters, Alamut. Players will use parkour, stealth, and close-quarter combat as core gameplay mechanics. The game also reintroduces “Black Box” assassination missions from previous titles, where players must explore their environment to find different ways to eliminate targets. As a Hidden One, Basim has a vast array of weapons and tools at his disposal, including the iconic Assassin Hidden Blade and smoke bombs.
