The latest addition to Assassin’s Creed set in Baghdad named Assassins Creed Mirage is a true spectacle in terms of its production design. Assassin’s creed mirage is the second game in the Assassin’s Creed Franchise to be set in the Arab world after Assassin’s Creed Origins which has Egypt as its backdrop. Assassin’s Creed Mirage Gameplay seems promising in terms of its world development and shares similarities to an Arabian tale. After Ragnarok, Ubisoft has really amazed us again with this epic video game that is on the lines of cinematic adventure using updated technologies that look more real.
Let’s discuss some facts that make Assassin’s Creed Mirage more promising:
A journey back to the Assassin lineage
Assassin’s Creed Mirage is set primarily in 9th-century Baghdad, during the Islamic Golden Age. The game follows the journey of Basim Ibn Ishaq (a character first introduced in Valhalla) and his transition from street thief to full member of the Brotherhood of the Assassins who fight for peace. and freedom, against the Order of the Templars, who want peace through control.
An open world journey through Baghdad
Baghdad is divided into five different areas that players can freely visit early in the game:
- Karkh: The industrial part of the city, which includes the bazaar.
- The Round City: The core of Baghdad and the richest area in the city. This part includes the grand palace of the reigning Caliphate.
- Science District: Includes universities and libraries, like the so-called House of Wisdom.
- Trade District: A part of town that is focused on trade and commerce.
- Military District: The military controls this part of Baghdad.
Unfortunately, we don’t know much about each district and its surroundings, but dividing it into different areas can add variety to your city’s layout.
Ubisoft announced various activities that allow players to participate in the game’s open world. Various types of collectibles and so-called world events have been identified.
It is really exciting to play Assassin’s creed games as it is also a journey through history. Hopes are high for this latest installment as well in the Assassin’s Creed franchise when it releases next year.
