After being an Xbox console exclusive for over 6 years, Rare has announced that their pirate adventure game Sea of Thieves will be launching on PlayStation 5 on April 30th, 2024. This exciting news means that many more players will soon be able to set sail in the vast open world of Sea of Thieves.
The PlayStation 5 release date will coincide with the start of Season 12 in Sea of Thieves. Therefore, PS5 players will join the game at the beginning of an all-new season, right alongside Xbox and PC players. Rare also revealed that the PS5 version can be wishlisted starting February 22nd, 2024, and more details on launch bundles, editions, and Season 12 activities will be shared soon.
