9. Tomb Raider – TV Series
Amazon Prime Video has also announced in 2023 that, they are also developing a TV series and movie based on the Tomb Raider franchise. Regarding the crew behind the series, the news out there is that, the script for the series will be written by Emmy Award Winning ‘Fleabag’ actress and producer Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who will also serve as executive producer for the series. But confirmed that she will not be starring. The project is still in the development stages.
Amazon‘s investment in video game adaptations doesn’t end there. The company has also announced its plans to publish the next Tomb Raider game from Crystal Dynamics, adding to its already impressive lineup of video game franchise adaptations.
